Dry July - During a pandemic? Sure - why the hell not?
I did a thing today. I told a trusted friend about my problem with alcohol. She listened, she understood and she told me how proud she was of me. Saying it out loud makes it easier to own. But that was fucking scary. I have never EVER admitted out loud that I have a problem with alcohol. It was awful to hear that coming out of my own mouth, but felt freeing all at the same time.
